***Happened last March 23, 2013***
After almost 2 months, I am now have the zest to share you the wonderful baptism of our baby. I did not expect it that way. It was my first time though, the normal is just a simple pouring of holy water, pagpapahid ng oil and lightning candles. May ganun din sa baptism ni JD but in an amazing way.
The baptism is much expensive that what I know, it costs P1,000 wherein P350 is the amount I know. And besides to that, P100 each for every godparents.
Why :?: JD's baptism was wonderful? Let me share ;) But before that, here's JD preparing for the day where she will become truly Christian.
The ceremony was held on March 23, 2013 at Sto. Domingo de Guzman parish church, officiated by Father Homer Policarpio - the singing priest, she started by singing "When JD was born." I was cuddling JD and father asked me to give her to daddy J as it is the normal.
And after some talks Fr, asked daddy J to go in front and bring JD for some blessing/holy water pouring.
Then the eldest godmother was told also to go in front to wipe the oil, followed by the godfather to put the white cap. Ninang Kamile and Ninong Gerald did them respectively.
Then came my turn, I went in front to light the big blue candle for use later.
Then after the homily (there was of course nice advise and lessons given to us) daddy J went in front to light the candle (from the big blue candle I lighted) and light the candles of the godparents.
